Experience
Ryder's practice focuses primarily on direct action securities litigation on behalf of hedge funds and other institutional investors. He also prosecutes antitrust class actions as well as complex business litigation on behalf of individual and corporate clients.
Ryder is an experienced litigator with particular expertise in the areas of complex business litigation as well as antitrust, securities fraud, and consumer protection class actions. He is also a seasoned financial professional with significant experience as an investment banker, private equity investor, and corporate executive.
Ryder has litigated multi-billion dollar cases as a member of some of the country's most distinguished litigation firms. As an investment banker, he has advised hundreds of clients on matters related to mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, complex valuations, and financial restructurings. As a private equity investor, he has executed U.S. and cross-border transactions across a variety of sectors. Ryder is also the founder of Pegasus Lodges & Resorts, an international hotel chain operating in five countries. This broad base of practical experience in a variety of roles enables a unique ability to relate to his clients and to navigate within the complex nuances of the commercial ecosystem.
